The blog Cath-ART-ic will begin on the first of September and unfold over the course of ten days leading to the tenth anniversary of the September 11th attacks. The blog will feature drawings and paintings by Irish artist Michelle Rogers that have chronicled the tragic events, the aftermath, and the developments since 9/11. Other artists, filmmakers and dancers have also contributed work that will be included, focusing on the ten-year journey from the site of destruction to the present. Each day images and video links will be posted on the blog, using the internet to exhibit artwork with the intention of reaching an expansive and diverse audience that can engage in transforming tragedy and sadness into constructive conversation.
